This past July 4th holiday weekend 2026, Dr. Michael Janssen, owner of Saratoga Hot Springs Resort and Snowy Mountain Brewery in Saratoga, Wyoming, traded in his resort duties for a very different kind of endurance challenge when he stepped up to compete in the Masskrugstemmen, the traditional Bavarian beer stein holding competition.
